I enjoyed the read. I agree with most ideas. I would chose a different word to express what you call "secret." I prefer "hidden." It is God's language, and method of delivery. Those with Christs' spiritual DNA, means Scripture is verified not only by fruits, but by citizenship first, are carriers of this hidden blessing. Col 3:3. Phil 3:20.

Also Christians do not come out of the church. They are 'The' church. Christs' only bride. One not many.

Your currenization could also be called a type of gamification as McLuhan would call it. But I again prefer a godly word for this called idolatry.

Using God for personal gain, be it monetary or political (fame) goes over the heads of many who think themselves religious. Good read.

What an excellent comment, Persephone, I appreciate you taking the time! Indeed, “hidden” might be a better word than “secret,” though I understand why Malesic used that language. I always like thinking of “veils,” which as an image finds a balance between “an opening” and “a wall.” I try to use that a lot in O.G. Rose, and it’s also true that there is a sense in which Christians can’t “come out of the church” in being it, but at the same time I do think there are different spaces in public life which are socially recognized as distinct, and in that sense people can be “out of a church-building” versus not (though I think your point on "the church" should always be kept in mind). “Gamification” is indeed a great term to associate with “currenization,” which indeed aligns with idolatry. Excellent, and thanks again!
